Woven Carpet Yarns
Don & Low manufacture a range of woven yarns, which can be used in the construction of carpets.
Woven carpets are created by interlacing face yarns and backing yarns, thereby eliminating the need for a secondary backing. Axminster and Wilton carpets are constructed using both weft and warp woven carpet yarns.
Carpets constructed using warp and weft woven carpet yarns, instead of primary and secondary backings, have a lower mass making carpets ideal for use on aeroplanes and cruise liners.
Don & Low produce a range of flat and twisted polypropylene warp and weft yarns under the Donfil® brand.
