Daltex® Aquashield® Active

Daltex® Aquashield® Active is a nonwoven laminate, suitable for use as incontinence bedding.

Aquashield® Active is a polypropylene laminate comprising of fibrous spunbond nonwoven and liquid repellent film, with additional antimicrobial protection. Aquashield® Active can be used in bedding as incontinence mattress and pillow protection.

Aquashield® Active has been designed to offer enhanced protection against house dust mites. With the inclusion of an antimicrobial additive, Aquashield® Active tackles the source of the allergy. Dust mites feed on the fungus on dead skin cells. The antimicrobial inhibits the growth of the fungi, limiting the food source of the mites.
