Don & Low Woven Carpet Weft Yarn

Don & Low manufacture Donfil^® woven carpet weft yarns suitable for use in the construction of woven carpets.

Donfil^® woven carpet weft yarns are available as flat or twisted, lubricated and non-lubricated products. Our woven carpet weft yarns are available in a variety of tex values, twist levels and spool lengths.

Weft yarns are made of a tightly controlled low-shrink specification, which enables them to be used in traditionally woven carpets without causing shrinkage of the carpet during latex or starch finishing.

Compared with natural fibres such as jute or cotton, our polypropylene woven carpet yarns offer greater bulk and an increased running length per kilo.

Don & Low produce a 200 tex grey weft yarn with a flame retardant additive, ideal for construction of carpets for aircraft and cruise ships.
