Don & Low award the first ever D&L Scholarship at Abertay University, to help provide support and practical experience to one marketing and business student for the 2017/18 academic year.
As a prominent figure within the local community and surrounding Angus areas for 225 years Don & Low is passionate about investing in local education, having created the very first Don & Low Scholarship at Abertay University earlier this year, within the ‘Dundee Business School’.
Having previously worked with Abertay University to provide MSc International Management and MSc International Human Resource Management students with the ‘Don & Low Prize’, as well as providing live business assessments to 3rd year Marketing and Business Students, the D&L scholarship will allow the company to provide additional support to marketing & business students throughout their final year at university.
The Don & Low Scholarship, worth £1,500, for the 2017/18 academic year was awarded this week to 3rd year student Miss. Tapner – a bright, driven and ambitious individual interested in marketing within Scottish Manufacturing.
Alongside the scholarship award and financial support, Miss. Tapner will take part in a work placement – January to April 2018 – at Newfordpark House to learn more about marketing within the manufacturing industry. The placement opportunity will provide additional experience alongside Miss. Tapner's studies to enhance future employment opportunities, while providing insight into an industry which might never have been previously considered.
