Don & Low’s Meltblown PP fabrics are produced using the most up-to-date manufacturing processes. Our line features are control of key process settings for material optimisation, in-line measurement and control of air permeability, bespoke melt additives and colours available for enhanced fabric properties, thermal flat calendar for in-line lamination. Our state-of-the-art Meltblown line can produce fine fibres (0.5 – 3 µm) ideally suited for filtration of respirable particles. The diverse nature of our fabrics makes them an excellent choice for many air filtration applications.
Electrostatically Charged Meltblown PP is specifically designed for use in medical face masks (EN 14683), providing enhanced filtration of sub-micron particles. With high fibre attenuation from a single-row nozzle (producing fine fibres 0.5 - 3 μm), it is ideally suited for the filtration of respirable particles.
